There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Nantes Reze (1-2) lost to tenth ranked Aix-en-Provence (1-2) in Les Milles 67-84. The game was mostly controlled by Aix-en-Provence. Nantes Reze was better in second period 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Nantes Reze 35-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Natalie Hurst (163-83) who scored 22 points and 5 assists. Spanish guard Tamara Abalde (188-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Aix-en-Provence players scored in double figures.
