Undefeated Base Oostende (2-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Dexia Mons-Hainaut (2-1) 83-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Base Oostende. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Base Oostende was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 25-17 charge of Dexia Mons-Hainaut, which allowed them to win the game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Sean Singletary (183-85, college: Virginia) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 4 assists. Dexia Mons-Hainaut moved-up to second place, which they share with Aalstar and Oostende. Dexia Mons-Hainaut will play against league's leader Spirou Charleroi at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Base Oostende will play against the league's second-placed Okapi Aalstar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
