Korisliiga top team - Joensuun Kataja (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked KTP-Basket (1-3) 95-67. The game was mostly controlled by Joensuun Kataja. KTP-Basket was better in second period 28-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American swingman Jared Newson (195-84, college: Tennessee-Martin, agency: Court Side) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds.
