Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Leche Rio Breogan (2-2) was edged on the road by top-ranked Lleida Basquet (4-0) 67-65 on Friday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 23-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a very good performance for American-Madagascar power forward Charles Ramsdell (208-85, college: Tulsa, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds. American-Croatian guard Marcus Norris (185-74, college: Ball St., agency: SportsTalent) contributed with 9 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Joseph Krabbenhoft (201-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: N.E.T.) replied with 13 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Brooks Sales (208-80, college: Villanova) added 9 points in the effort for Leche Rio Breogan. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lleida Basquet have a solid four-game winning streak. Lleida Basquet maintains first position with 4-0 record. Loser Leche Rio Breogan dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. Lleida Basquet will face bottom-ranked Clinicas Rincon (#18) in Malaga in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Leche Rio Breogan will play at home against Palencia Baloncesto (#13).
