There was a minor upset when higher ranked Olimp MKS Start Lublin (1-2) lost to fourteenth ranked Polonia (1-2) in Przemysl 65-77 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Polonia. Olimp MKS Start Lublin was better in fourth quarter 23-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Polonia made 10 blocks. It was a good game for forward Artur Mikolajko (197-79) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Forward Bartosz Bal (190-89) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Polonia players scored in double figures. Polonia's coach Maciej Milan used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Pawel Kowalski (197-83) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and forward Rafal Krol (198-87) added 19 points and 5 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Olimp MKS Start Lublin.
