But then Airlines R. had a 21-13 second period charge getting the lead and Mitsubishi K. was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-72. They outrebounded Mitsubishi K. 38-27 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. International forward Reika Takahashi (177-88) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks. Swingman Sangi Kanade (169-86) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Center Enjin Wantsu (189-87) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Mitiko Miyamoto (175-86) added 17 points and 5 assists in the effort for Mitsubishi K.Five Airlines R. and four Mitsubishi K. players scored in double figures. Mitsubishi K.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Airlines R. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Mitsubishi K.
