Regular Season Round 3: Ulriken - NTNUI Basket 97-34

The game with biggest result difference took place in Bergen. Local Ulriken (3-1) outscored bottom-ranked NTNUI Basket (0-4) 97-34. The game without a history. Ulriken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NTNUI Basket to just 6 points in second quarter. Ulriken dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to NTNUI Basket's 28. Ulriken forced 46 NTNUI Basket turnovers and had a 23-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Ulriken's coach DuRell Sanford felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Charlene Gris answered with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Hanna Gaarder added 7 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for NTNUI Basket. Defending champion used an opportunity after Ullern lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. NTNUI Basket at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Ulriken will play against Ammerud (#3) in Oslo in the next round, which may be the game of the day. NTNUI Basket will have a break next round.
