Regular Season Round 2: Sabac - Konstantin 75-76

A very close game took place in Sabac between Konstantin and Sabac. Top-ranked Konstantin (2-0) got a very close victory on the road over bottom-ranked Sabac (0-2). Konstantin managed to escape with a 1-point win 76-75 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sabac won third quarter 22-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Konstantin won last quarter 18-18. Konstantin keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Mladost BJ. Newly promoted Sabac still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Vojvodina. Konstantin will meet at home Radnicki OB (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Sabac will play against Vojvodina (#14) in Novi Sad and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
