Very predictable result when leader Omegna (5-0) rolled over 10th ranked Comsum.it SI (2-3) in Siena 83-63 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-63. Omegna shot 65.4 percent from the field. They also forced 20 Comsum.it SI turnovers and had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Stefano Masciadri (200-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Matteo Bertolazzi (181-79) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Omegna players scored in double figures. Center Amedeo Tessitori (203-94) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Nicola Mei (186-85) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Comsum.it SI. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Omegna. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Napoli.
