No shocking result in a game when third ranked Valmiera (2-1) beat on the road bottom-ranked Liepaja (0-3) 76-72. Liepaja was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 39-33 second half run of Valmiera. They made 24-of-30 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game.
