The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Prievidza as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Prievidza smashed bottom-ranked SKP Banska Bystrica at home 111-74. The game without a history. Prievidza led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter.
