An interesting game for Tartu Ulikool (4-0) which played road game in Tallinn against 4th placed Tln Kalev (1-2). Leader Tartu Ulikool had an easy win 93-67. It looked good early as Tln Kalev took an 11-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tartu Ulikool took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 26 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tln Kalev's 32. Tartu Ulikool forced 20 Tln Kalev turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including 17 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Tln Kalev's players. Tln Kalev was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for international center Rain Raadik (208-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Asko Paade (206-84) helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Coach Indrek Visnapuu's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Russian center Aleksei Fedortchuk (210-86, agency: RIZO) with 10 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Deividas Nazarovas (195-91) scored 13 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tartu Ulikool have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-0 record. Tln Kalev at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Tarvas and TTU/Kalev. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
