There was no surprise in San Martino di L where 8th ranked Marghera (1-3) was defeated by sixth ranked San Martino (3-1) 67-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by San Martino. Marghera was better in third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when San Martino won last quarter 19-9. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Marghera's 26. San Martino forced 22 Marghera turnovers.
