Regular Season Round 4: Moycullen - UCD Marian 65-67

A very close game took place in Moycullen between UCD Marian and Moycullen. Third ranked UCD Marian (2-2) got a very close victory on the road over 4th ranked Moycullen (0-4). UCD Marian managed to escape with a 2-point win 67-65 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Donnie Stith (201-85, college: Tulane, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Daniel James (189-90) who added 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four UCD Marian players scored in double figures. UCD Marian's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American forward Luke Enos (201, college: Black Hills St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and forward Stephen Tummon (197-90) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. UCD Marian moved-up to second place, which they share with UCC Demons. Loser Moycullen still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Belfast Star. UCD Marian will meet at home UL Eagles (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Moycullen will play against Belfast Star and hopes to get finally their first victory.
