Bottom-ranked Optima Gent (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 83-71 loss to fourth ranked Leuven Bears (3-1) in Gent. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. It looked good early as Optima Gent took an 12-point lead at the end of first quarter.
