Very expected game when bottom-ranked Hyeres-Toulon (0-3) was smashed on the road by ninth ranked Chorale de Roanne (2-1) 116-90 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Chorale de Roanne. Hyeres-Toulon was better in third quarter 27-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chorale de Roanne looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. It was a good game for American forward Dylan Page (204-82, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) who led his team to a victory with 32 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Andre Barrett (175-82, college: Seton Hall, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 assists for the winners. Chorale de Roanne's coach Jean-Denys Choulet felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Senegalese forward Mouhammad Faye (208-85, college: SMU) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Bosnian power forward Damir Krupalija (205-79, college: Illinois) added 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Hyeres-Toulon. Five Chorale de Roanne and four Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. Chorale de Roanne moved-up to second place, which they share with 7 other teams. Loser Hyeres-Toulon still closes the standings with three games lost. Chorale de Roanne will face Paris-Levallois (#6) on the road in the next round. Hyeres-Toulon will play against JSF Nanterre (#16) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
