Regular Season Round 4: Rapla - Tarvas 63-67

Date: October 22, 2011
The most shocking disappointment of round 4 was a home defeat of 4th ranked Rapla (1-3) to fifth ranked BC Rakvere (2-2) 67-63. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 30-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Valmo Kriisa (190-74) who added 11 points during the contest. At the losing side point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (180-93) responded with 18 points and 6 assists and power forward Raido Ringmets (206-83) scored 8 points and 13 rebounds. Rapla's coach Indrek Ruut rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BC Rakvere moved-up to third place. Rapla at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Valga/CKE. BC Rakvere are looking forward to face KK Parnu (#6) on the road in the next round. Rapla will have a break next round.
