Important game to mention about took place in Stockholm. Tenth ranked 08 Stockholm (1-2) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Visby Ladies (1-2) 73-70 in the fight for the sixth place. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. 08 Stockholm dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Visby Ladies' 36. 08 Stockholm forced 19 Visby Ladies turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Abigail Asoro (178-93) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Nathalie Fontaine (183-93) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Eva Hagg-Myntti (171-88) with 27 points and American swingman Ashleigh Brown (183-87, college: Miami, OH) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Visby Ladies' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. 08 Stockholm left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Visby Ladies. 08 Stockholm will face league's second-placed Telge on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
