ACB top team - Unicaja Malaga (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked CAI Zaragoza (1-2) 79-57. The game without a history. Unicaja Malaga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to CAI Zaragoza's 22. British forward Joel Freeland (208-87) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Croatian power forward Luka Zoric (211-84) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Brazilian center Rafael Hettsheimer (206-86) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Pablo Aguilar (203-89) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Four CAI Zaragoza players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Unicaja Malaga have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Loser CAI Zaragoza dropped to the thirteenth place with two games lost. They share the position with B.de Rueda V.. Unicaja Malaga will meet Valencia Basket (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. CAI Zaragoza will play against Lagun Aro GBC (#18) in San Sebastian.
