Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Handlopex AZS (3-1) outplayed bottom-ranked Pulaski Warka (0-5) in Rzeszow 86-60 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Handlopex AZS. Pulaski Warka was better in third quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Handlopex AZS forced 22 Pulaski Warka turnovers and outrebounded them 44-20 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Handlopex AZS looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Pulaski Warka's players. Forward Michal Batorski (199-88) answered with 14 points and guard Bartosz Czerwonka (188-89) added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for Pulaski Warka. Handlopex AZS moved-up to second place in Group C. Newly promoted Pulaski Warka still closes the standings with five games lost. Handlopex AZS will face AZS II Polit.W-wa (#10) in Warszawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pulaski Warka will play at home against Tur Bielsk Pdl. in Bielsk Podlaski and hopes to get finally their first victory.
