We should mention about the upset which took place in Netanya, where bottom-ranked Elitzur Netanya (0-1) lost at home to ninth ranked Maccabi Ashdod (1-1) 86-90 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-15. But Elitzur Netanya won second period 23-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St.) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Ramel Bradley (188-85, agency: Avi Zilberman) chipped in 24 points.
