Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked Assignia Manresa (3-1) beat at home 15th ranked Gran Canaria 2014 (1-3) 69-60 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 40-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great shooting night for Assignia Manresa especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Gran Canaria 2014 was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Javier Rodriguez (189-79, college: Boston Coll.) who helped to win the game recording 1 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists and American forward Justin Doellman (206-85, college: Xavier) who added 16 points during the contest.
