No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked GTK Gliwice (2-3) beat bottom-ranked UMKS Piotrc. (0-5) in Piotrkow 62-57 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 15-12. But UMKS Piotrc. won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. GTK Gliwice forced 27 UMKS Piotrc. turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when GTK Gliwice made 11 blocks. Forward Przemyslaw Malona (198-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Guard Tomasz Wrobel (180-85) contributed with 11 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four GTK Gliwice players scored in double figures.
