There was an upset in Mikawa where second-ranked Sendai 89ers (3-1) were rolled over by ninth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (2-4) 84-55 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Hamamatsu Phoenix. Sendai 89ers was better in third quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamamatsu Phoenix forced 20 Sendai 89ers turnovers. Sendai 89ers will play at home against the league's leader Akita Happinets and will have a slim chance for a victory.
