Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Real Madrid and one of their biggest challengers Blusens Monbus had identical 2-1 record. This time Real Madrid used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Santoago de Comp 81-67 on Sunday night. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game without a history. Real Madrid led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Real Madrid outrebounded Blusens Monbus 39-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Blusens Monbus was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Newly promoted Blusens Monbus dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Real Madrid will face Gran Canaria 2014 (#15) in Las Palmas in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Blusens Monbus will play at home against Meridiano Alicante (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
