No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Cimberio Varese (2-1) beat at home bottom-ranked Novipiu CM (0-3) 72-64 on Sunday. Novipiu CM was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Cimberio Varese dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Novipiu CM's 20. They outrebounded Novipiu CM 39-21 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for center Diego Fajardo (208-76, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 6 rebounds. French forward Yakhouba Diawara (201-82, college: Pepperdine) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners.
