Undefeated Perth Wildcats (3-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by ninth ranked Adelaide 36ers (1-3) 100-92. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Perth Wildcats. Perth Wildcats were ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 58-49 second half run of Adelaide 36ers. They shot 60.3 percent from the field. They also forced 20 Perth Wildcats turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Perth Wildcats were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. International swingman Stephen Weigh (198-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Adelaide 36ers' coach Marty Clarke allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
