The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Bulleen Boomers' (3-1) road victory over 5th ranked Dandenong Rangers (3-2) 81-76 on Friday. The guests trailed by 13 points after three quarters before their 29-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Bulleen Boomers forced 19 Dandenong Rangers turnovers. Quite impressive performance for international center Liz Cambage (203-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. International guard Rachel Jarry (185-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international swingman Jenna O'Hea (185-87) replied with 24 points and 8 rebounds and international guard Kathleen Macleod (167-86) added 21 points and 5 assists in the effort for Dandenong Rangers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 3-1 record. Loser Dandenong Rangers keep the fifth place with two games lost. Bulleen Boomers will face higher ranked Adelaide Lightning (#3) at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Dandenong Rangers will play against Canberra Capitals.
