No shocking result in a game in Thessaloniki where fourth ranked Panathinaikos (4-1) defeated 9th ranked Aris (1-4) 65-54. Aris was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 23-8 charge of Panathinaikos, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 Aris turnovers and outrebounded them 43-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. The former international power forward Afroditi Kosma (187-83) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and American power forward Diana Delva (188, college: Hartford) accounted for 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Panathinaikos players scored in double figures. Panathinaikos' coach Giasemi Siamandoura allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
