Townsville Crocodiles led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Townsville Crocodiles outrebounded Gold Coast Blaze 44-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. American swingman Elvin Mims (196-79, college: S.Mississippi) fired 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Jacob Holmes (201-83) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Five Townsville Crocodiles players scored in double figures. The former international forward Mark Worthington (202-83, college: Metro St.) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman James Harvey (196-79, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points respectively for lost side.
