Townsville Crocodiles outrebounded Gold Coast Blaze 44-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. American swingman Elvin Mims (196-79, college: S.Mississippi) fired 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Jacob Holmes (201-83) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Five Townsville Crocodiles players scored in double figures. The former international forward Mark Worthington (202-83, college: Metro St.) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman James Harvey (196-79, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Gold Coast Blaze's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Townsville Crocodiles moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Taipans. Loser Gold Coast Blaze dropped to the bottom position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
