The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-ranked Rosa II Radom's (0-5) road loss to eleventh ranked Novum Lublin (3-3) 68-79 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Novum Lublin. Rosa II Radom was better in second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Novum Lublin won last quarter 28-18. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Rosa II Radom turnovers. Swingman Jakub Karolak (192-93) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Michael Gospodarek (186-91) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Lukasz Sobuta (-92) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Konrad Labedz (187-86) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Rosa II Radom's coach Karol Gutkowski gave the chance to play for eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Novum Lublin moved-up to eighth place in Group C, which they share with UKS Siemaszka and Staco MNLK. Newly promoted Rosa II Radom still closes the standings with five games lost. Novum Lublin will face league's second-placed PWiK Piaseczno on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rosa II Radom will play against Staco MNLK (#10) in Niepolomice and hopes to get finally their first victory.
