Regular Season Round 5: Quimper - St Vallier 73-80

No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Saint Vallier (3-2) beat on the road 15th ranked Quimper UJAP (1-4) 80-73 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-73. Saint Vallier dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Quimper UJAP's 22. American point guard Kyle Shiloh (191-85, college: Nevada) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 6 rebounds. David Denave (195-85) contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Liberian-American Pele Paelay (193-84, college: Co.Carolina) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Aurelien Salmon (204-87) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Quimper UJAP. The victory was the third consecutive win for Saint Vallier. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Quimper UJAP lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. Saint Vallier will have a break next round.
