Round 6 most important game was a victory of Rosa Radom over 5th ranked MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza 67-66 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza won fourth quarter 27-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rosa Radom forced 19 MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza turnovers and had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international center Hubert Radke (208-80, college: Loyola, IL, agency: Limelight Hoops) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds. The former international guard Iwo Kitzinger (188-85, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Michal Woloszyn (202-84) replied with 12 points and point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (176-93) added 14 points in the effort for MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Rosa Radom (4-2) moved-up to fifth place. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Rosa Radom are looking forward to face MKS Znicz Basket (#7) in Pruszkow in the next round. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play on the road against Sudety in Jelenia Gora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
