Regular Season Round 6: Chiba Jets - Takamatsu FA 71-56

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Takamatsu FA (0-5) lost on the road to second ranked Chiba Jets (4-1) 71-56 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Chiba Jets. Takamatsu FA was better in second period 16-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chiba Jets forced 20 Takamatsu FA turnovers. Takamatsu FA was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American guard Maurice Hargrow (193-83, college: Minnesota) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Paul Butorac (208-83, college: E.Washington) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Michael Nunnally (203-86, college: Pacific) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Takamatsu FA. Chiba Jets keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Takamatsu FA at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Chiba Jets will face again Takamatsu FA (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
