Bottom-ranked Nice (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 83-80 loss to eighth ranked Villeneuve D'Asco (3-3) in Villeneuve on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 13 points after three quarters before their 31-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game.
