Undefeated leader UL Aughinish delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 9th ranked Liffey Celtics (1-4) 71-37 in Limerick. UL Aughinish dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Liffey Celtics' 22. UL Aughinish forced 20 Liffey Celtics turnovers and had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Aoife McDermott (185-91) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Louise Galvin (169-87) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Karen Mealey came up with 13 points and Aine O'Connor added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Liffey Celtics in the defeat. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for UL Aughinish. Defending champion maintains first place with 6-0 record. Newly promoted Liffey Celtics dropped to the eighth position with four games lost.
