Regular Season Round 6: Lyon - Aix-en-Provence 64-75

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Aix-en-Provence and 11th ranked Lyon had identical 1-4 record. But Lyon was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Les Milles 75-64 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 31-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Aix-en-Provence made 27-of-35 free shots (77.1 percent) during the game, while Lyon only scored eleven points from the stripe. Lyon was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Newly promoted Lyon dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. Aix-en-Provence will face Union Hainaut (#10) in Saint-Amand in the next round. Lyon will play on the road against Charleville-Mezieres and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
