The most interesting game of round 7 was a home defeat of 4th placed Shimane Magic (4-2) to second ranked Osaka Evessa (5-1) 70-63. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 21-10 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Osaka Evessa made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Lynn Washington (200-78, college: Indiana) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Osaka Evessa have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Shimane Magic at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Okinawa GK and Shinshu BW. Osaka Evessa is looking forward to face Kyoto Hannar. (#5) on the road in the next round.
