There was a minor upset in Forli where higher ranked Biancoblu BO (2-2) was edged by eleventh ranked MarcoPoloShop.it (2-2) 72-70 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Biancoblu BO won fourth quarter 17-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Biancoblu BO 46-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Tony Easley (206-87, college: Murray St., agency: Pro One Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Naturalized American guard Roman Nardi (186-85, college: Villanova) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Brett Blizzard (191-80, college: NC-Wilmington) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Tre Kelley (182-85, college: S.Carolina) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Biancoblu BO's coach Zare Markovski tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. MarcoPoloShop.it moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Biancoblu BO and Fileni BPA. MarcoPoloShop.it will face Prima Veroli (#13) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
