There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Assi Ostuni (2-3) edged on the road 10th ranked Aget Imola (2-3) 70-69 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 21-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Assi Ostuni made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Aget Imola turnovers. Aget Imola was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Israeli-American center Dane Diliegro (205-88, college: New Hampshire) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. American guard Aaron Johnson (172-88, college: UAB) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists.
