Higher ranked Barreteros (13-8) fell to twelfth ranked Lechugueros (8-13) in overtime by two points 90-92. The game took place in Zacatecas. But the guests from Leon were better at the end. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Barreteros. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Barreteros won fourth quarter 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Barreteros used huge pressure winning it 21-18 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 9-11. Lechugueros made 26-of-33 charity shots (78.8 percent) during the game. Bahamas power forward Ryan Moss (200-74, college: UALR) scored 27 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Deilvez Yearby (198-87, college: IPFW, agency: Pro One Sports) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Lechugueros players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized American guard Forrest Fisher (193-84) responded with 32 points and American forward James Reaves (203-82, college: Niagara, agency: TSS Management) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Barreteros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lechugueros moved-up to eleventh place. Barreteros at the other side keep the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Huracanes. Lechugueros will play against higher ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (#9) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Barreteros will play against Toros (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
