Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Riga: TTT Riga (#1) and TTT Juniores (#4). TTT Riga (6-0) smashed visiting TTT Juniores (3-3) by 30 points 83-53. The game without a history. TTT Riga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TTT Riga forced 32 TTT Juniores turnovers and outrebounded them 56-37 including a 25-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. International forward Karline Nimane (188-90) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four TTT Riga players scored in double figures. TTT Riga's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Kristiana Pumpure (173-92) replied with 10 points and 8 rebounds and guard Kate Aizsila (172-94) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for TTT Juniores. TTT Riga have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-0 record. TTT Juniores at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with RTU-Merks. TTT Riga will play against Daugavpils Universitate (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. TTT Juniores will play against Kolibri/U-16 in Riga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
