We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Hokkaido L. (5-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Tochigi Brex (3-7) 87-80 on Thursday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) who scored 25 points.
