No shocking result in a game in Pamplona where sixth ranked Leche Rio Breogan (5-3) defeated 13th ranked Grupo Iruna Navarra (2-6) 103-93 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Leche Rio Breogan. Grupo Iruna Navarra was better in fourth quarter 30-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Leche Rio Breogan made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Leche Rio Breogan especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was Dominican-American guard James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) who scored 31 points. Nigerian-Dominican guard Sean Ogirri (188-86, college: Wyoming) chipped in 29 points. American power forward Kevin Langford (204-85, college: TCU, agency: Dynamics Global Management) produced 26 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Nikola Rakocevic (192-91) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Four Leche Rio Breogan and five Grupo Iruna Navarra players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Leche Rio Breogan moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Melilla and Palencia. Grupo Iruna Navarra lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with six games lost. Leche Rio Breogan will face Melilla Baloncesto (#5) on the road in the next round. Grupo Iruna Navarra will play against Clinicas Rincon (#18) in Malaga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
