A very interesting game took place in Huesca. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 17th ranked Lobe Huesca (2-6) to fifteenth ranked Basquet Mallorca (3-5) 78-75 on Friday evening. It looked good early as Lobe Huesca took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Basquet Mallorca had a 16-12 second period charge getting the lead and Lobe Huesca was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 75-78. Basquet Mallorca forced 24 Lobe Huesca turnovers. The winners were led by American forward Shaun Green (203-87, college: Utah, agency: Limelight Hoops) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks and power forward Jose Amador (210-83, agency: Duran International) supported him with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Basquet Mallorca players scored in double figures. Even 27 points by Lithuanian guard Gintaras Leonavicius (194-83, agency: Players Group) did not help to save the game for Lobe Huesca. point guard Oscar Herrero (182-87) added 14 points and 6 assists for the hosts. Lobe Huesca's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Basquet Mallorca moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Lobe Huesca at the other side dropped to the sixteenth position with six games lost. Basquet Mallorca's next round opponent will be CB Tarragona 2017 (#11) at home.
