Bottom-ranked AIS is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to sixth ranked Logan Thunder (3-3) 87-57 on Friday evening. The game without a history. Logan Thunder led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Logan Thunder forced 22 AIS turnovers. International center Cayla Francis (192-89) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and the former international guard Renae Camino (177-86) accounted for 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Logan Thunder players scored in double figures. Coach Olaf Lange's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. Forward Sara Blicavs (188-93) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and forward Olivia Thompson (185-93) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for AIS in the defeat. Logan Thunder maintains sixth place with 3-3 record. AIS lost their seventh game in a row. They still closes the standings with seven games lost. Logan Thunder will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. AIS will play against West Coast Waves (#9) in Perth and hopes to get finally their first victory.
