Regular Season Round 5: Coruna - Prat Juventud 68-65

A very close game took place in Coruna between Leyma Basquet and Prat Juventud. Sixth ranked Leyma Basquet (3-1) got a very close home victory over 4th placed Prat Juventud (3-2). Leyma Basquet managed to escape with a 3-point win 68-65 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Prat Juventud. Forward Albert Ventura (196-92) came up with 21 points and 4 assists and American center Brandon Brigman (203-83, college: S.Florida) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Prat Juventud in the defeat. Prat Juventud's coach Carles Duran let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Leyma Basquet moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Andorra. Loser Prat Juventud dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Leyma Basquet will meet River Andorra (#4) on the road in the next round. Prat Juventud will play against Fontedoso Carrefour in Avila and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
