Important game to mention about took place in Stadrbredimus. Sixth ranked Musel Pikes (4-3) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Soleuvre (2-5) 72-70 on Saturday evening. Soleuvre was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 19-13 charge of Musel Pikes, which allowed them to win the game. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-British forward Philip Perre (198-79, college: N.Alabama) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. American power forward Brandon Gary (202-83, college: Hutchinson CC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. American Lamonte Ulmer (198-86, college: Rhode Island) answered with 28 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Belgian power forward Dimitri Jorssen (212-79, college: Utah St.) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Soleuvre. The victory was the third consecutive win for Musel Pikes. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Amicale. Soleuvre at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Musel Pikes will play against higher ranked Etzella (#4) in Ettelbruck in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Soleuvre will play at home against BBC Nitia (#9) in Bettembourg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
