There was no surprise in Szczecin where 13th ranked Wilki Morskie (1-6) was defeated by fifth ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (4-2) 95-80 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ksiezak Lowicz led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ksiezak Lowicz forced 21 Wilki Morskie turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ksiezak Lowicz made 12 blocks. It was a great evening for guard Bartosz Wluczynski (176-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Kacper Kromer (204-87) helped adding 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Ksiezak Lowicz players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Radoslaw Bojko (196-91) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and guard Karol Nowacki (194-91) scored 9 points and 5 assists. Wilki Morskie's coach Marek Zukowski rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ksiezak Lowicz moved-up to third place in Group A. Wilki Morskie lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with six games lost. Ksiezak Lowicz will face league's leader Open Florentyna in Pleszew in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wilki Morskie will play on the road against SMS PZKosz (#12) in Wladyslawowo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
