Salon Vilpas (4-6) survived in overtime against Tampereen Pyrinto (6-2) by seven points 106-99 on Saturday night. Tampereen Pyrinto was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 20-27s. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Salon Vilpas made 7 blocks. Tampereen Pyrinto was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch.
